How Our DCP’s Impact Your Road to Success
Approximately 90 percent of all PrimeLending Loan Processors are certified through this unique program, which means they have taken our DCP certification class and have maintained a standard of excellence to keep their designation.
After a loan proceeds through its initial underwriting review, our DCP’s can help facilitate closing by identifying eligible conditions and clearing them out at their level. But DCP’s can produce their biggest impact by reapproving loans due to the following reasons: changes in loan amount, interest rate, cash to close, PITI increases due to change in taxes/HOI, and updated asset documentation from the borrowers.

Have you ever felt like your loans disappear into an underwriting abyss or black hole? No need to worry any longer. Introducing PrimeLending’s Loan Tracker 3 (LT3) functionality. Exclusive to PrimeLending, this underwriting pipeline management system is available to all employees. It offers complete transparency into the life of each of your loans in line for underwriting. With LT3, you will always know EXACTLY where your loan falls within the underwriting queue. Now you can help everyone on your team set proper expectations with the parties involved and take the guesswork out of your pipeline management. But that’s not all . . .
Our employees adore LT3 and consider it an indispensable component of their business development toolbelts. Their favorite part is LT3’s queue swap functionality, which allows them to literally swap out loans in line for underwriting with team members in their branch, in other branches, and even with themselves. This helps us win favor with referral partners and borrowers by cutting time out of the process and providing accurate, consistent communication.
Here’s an example of how a queue swap scenario works, let’s say that you have a loan in line for review that has reached the 37th spot in the queue. You could reach out to a loan officer who has a loan higher in line (in the 5th spot or 10th spot, for example) and ask for your loans to change places so that your loan will be reviewed sooner. You can also swap your own loan files to manage your pipeline and reduce turn times as much as possible.

In fact, she often acts like a universal Midwest DCP, picking up the slack in all our branches. Through her hard work and dedication, she keeps our entire region’s turn times on track. Furthermore, she has the ability to swap loans in our underwriting queue as she and the region sees fit.
